National colorectal cancer awareness month

The Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada (CCAC) is a patient organization dedicated to supporting people with colorectal cancer. The mission of the CCAC is to improve the quality of life of patients and increase awareness of the disease. Activities focus on promoting colorectal cancer through awareness and education initiatives including the importance of a healthy lifestyle. We offer a variety of support programs for patients and advocate for screening programs and equal and timely access to effective treatments for all Canadians

Launching of the new website of the "Centre de Stomothérapie du Québec"

The site aims to help ostomates and their families in their daily lives by providing them with information, paramedic support and the possibility to buy specialized products for the care of their stoma. There is even a discussion board that allows everybody to exchange regarding their needs when he or she needs it. In January 2009, the “Centre de Stomothérapie du Québec” will officially open its doors to offer its customers the care and support appropriate to their well-being.
