The "Centre de Stomothérapie du Québec" is comprised of a team of passionate professionals who contribute directly to the care of patients.

Ostomates can often live some difficult moments. They can sometimes feel embarrassed and uncomfortable following the surgery not knowing who to turn to, who to discuss with and / or to confide. In this context, we find important to provide our clients consulting services with a psychologist who will be able to listen, reassure and answer all of their questions.

Sexuality may become a sacred subject for people who experienced an ostomy. Wearing a pouch may indeed be an inconvenient. There exists easy and inexpensive means that exist so that ostomates can enjoy an active sex life. We offer consultation services at the Center with an experienced sexologist.

Ostomates must bring changes to their daily diet. To help them maintain or regain health, a nutritionist will develop tailored menus suitable to the nutritional needs of patients and will assist them in their daily choices.
